Event Type: Children's
Age Group(s): 3-5 Years
Date: 2/20/2017
Start Time: 11:00 AM
End Time: 11:45 AM
Description:
This program will consist of a caregiver and child creating a craft along with food related play. The purpose of this group is to introduce new foods in a fun and positive way. This will increase the child's curiosity/tolerance to new food. It's perfect for picky eaters, but all children can benefit from a new way of enjoying food. Children will be encouraged to touch, smell, and play with food but not forced to eat the food.
An allergy alert is recommended. Children ages 2.5 -5 year old welcome. All craft and food supplies will be provided by Body Language Therapy. The session will be run by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (Roseanne Tramontelli MS CCC-SLP) and an Occupational Therapist ( Jamie Souza Page OTR-L). Space is limited to 8 children and 8 adults so registration is required.
