To all fans of Pokemon and Japanese culture, this event is for you! To celebrate Pokemon's 20th anniversary, we are having a Japanese Retrospective Event about the history of Japanese Monsters and a Pokemon Voice Actress! The two speakers are: Michele Knotz (voice actress of Nurse Joy, Misty, the PokÚdex and many more Pokemon characters) and Charles Dunbar (a graduate of Hunter College, CUNY, where he received a BA in Religion and Anthropology and an MA in Cultural Anthropology). He has attended numerous conventions in the U.S. discussing Japanese Folklore and Anime. For this event, he will be discussing Kowai: A Look at Japanese Monsters. Michele will be doing a Q&A/Voice Overs panel and will also be signing autographs for her fans!
